Yes, most of our flavoring extracts, including our vanilla extracts for baking, are alcohol-based. The vanilla extracts are water-soluble and work well in many baking applications. When flavoring baked goods with pure vanilla extracts, remember the alcohol and some of the flavoring extract will bake out at high temperatures.
